Hello! My name is Ryan, and I am a Game Designer specializing in Systems Design. I am a senior studying games and animation at The University of Texas at Dallas. Currently, I am the Lead Designer for InVein at the UT Dallas Game Production Lab. In 2025, I worked with a 40-person team to create and release Gravebound on Steam. In 2020, I created Serenity Cove, which rose to become one of VRChat's top 20 highest-favorited worlds. This world was featured in The New York Times and used by large companies like HoloLive Production.

I specialize in creating interesting, interconnected systems that drive emergent gameplay. My design philosophy emphasizes immersive mechanics and systems that fit into the game's world to create experiences that players will want to invest their time into. Whether I'm designing deep progression systems or creating engaging combat systems, I love to build nuanced systems that are intuitive on the surface but have layers of complexity that can be discovered through player experimentation.
